Blades for every system

From primary tillage to precision no-till seeding — our range covers all standard and custom disc and coulter specifications.

01
Tillage · Primary
Plain Disc Blades
Flat and concave profiles for primary and secondary tillage. Uniform hardness edge-to-centre ensures even wear and consistent furrow depth across the full operating life of the blade.
Diameters410–660 mm
Thickness4.0–6.0 mm
ConcavityFlat / 28 / 32 / 36 mm
EdgePlain / Bevelled
Material28MnCrB5
02
Tillage · Notched
Notched Disc Blades
U-cut scalloped notches around the full perimeter. Superior soil penetration and residue cutting in conservation tillage, heavy trash conditions, and hard dry soils where a plain disc loses traction.
Diameters460–660 mm
Notch typeU-cut scalloped
Notch count8–16 per disc
Concavity28 / 32 mm
Material28MnCrB5
03
Seeding · Wavy
Wavy Coulter Blades
Sinusoidal wavy edge profile for clean seed furrow cutting with minimal soil disturbance. Designed for conservation tillage and no-till seeding systems where residue management is critical.
Diameters380–500 mm
ProfileSinusoidal wavy
HubPlain bore / Flanged
FinishShot blast + Powder coat
Material28MnCrB5
04
Seeding · Ripple
Ripple Coulter Blades
Short-amplitude ripple edge — a middle ground between plain and wavy profiles. Preferred where moderate residue cutting is needed without the aggressive soil disturbance of a full wavy coulter.
Diameters380–460 mm
ProfileShort-amplitude ripple
HubPlain bore / Flanged
FinishShot blast + Powder coat
Material28MnCrB5

Six steps from coil to field-ready

01
Steel procurement
28MnCrB5 coils from certified mills — SAIL, Jindal, TATA, ArcelorMittal. Full mill test certificates confirming chemical composition before any cutting begins.

02
CNC laser cutting
Circular discs are cut directly from steel coil/sheet using CNC laser — no blanking press. Notch profiles, U-cut scallops, and bore holes are all laser cut to precise geometry in the same operation.

03
Press forming
Hydraulic press lines form the concavity profile — flat, 28mm, 32mm, or 36mm depth. Disc geometry established before heat treatment so the quench locks in both hardness and shape simultaneously.
±0.5mm tolerance
04
8-zone conveyor furnace
Diesel and gas-fired conveyor furnace — 8 zones, 16 burners, 10 metres long. Each zone independently temperature-controlled for consistent austenitisation through the full disc cross-section.
8 zones · 16 burners · 10m
05
Press quenching
Each disc is constrained in a precision die during rapid cooling — simultaneously locking in 48–52 HRC martensitic microstructure and maintaining flatness. No post-quench straightening required.
48–52 HRC
06
Shot blasting
Scale and oxides removed in shot blast chamber to Sa 2.5 cleanliness. Induces beneficial compressive stress at the disc edge for improved fatigue resistance.
